Health and Wellness Resources

Wholehearted support for the whole vet community

We know that veterinary practice teams can be especially vulnerable to stress and other mental health challenges. With this in mind, our dedication to our customers includes supporting the well-being of their entire team. It’s an important part of helping everyone provide high-quality animal care and enjoy fruitful careers in our industry.

Proud to support NOMV – and you

As part of our Whole Vet Initiative, we’re honored to serve as a bronze member sponsor of Not One More Vet (NOMV). This international nonprofit supports veterinary team members with mental health challenges through education, resources and support that helps them to survive and thrive.

Events and CE opportunities, co-sponsored with Elanco

We’re partnering with Dr. Heidi Hulon, Elanco’s Wellbeing Consulting Veterinarian. As a certified positive psychology practitioner, she is working with us to provide research-based educational opportunities that support mental wellness on practice teams.

Courses focused on mental health

We have created online courses focused on mental health and compassion fatigue in clinics. You’ll earn one CE credit; more importantly, you’ll learn to support your colleagues.

Courses include:
  • Alcohol and Substance Use Disorder in Veterinary Medicine: Prevalence, Treatment and Prevention
  • Suicide Awareness in Veterinary Medicine: Signs, Safety Plans and Postvention
  • Building Resiliency and Confidence to Strengthen Your Mental Well-Being
  • Allyship in Mental Health

Ongoing and steady support

We’re planning further support in the future for NOMV. Resources, education and additional ideas to help your colleagues will be added regularly. And we are here to support you in all ways, including your everyday well-being.
