JorVet Silver Alginate Dressing is a fibrous, highly absorbent (up to 20x its weight), all-natural biodegradable material derived from seaweed. The dressing absorbs exudates and forms a gel-like covering over the wound, which maintains a moist environment for optimal wound healing.

• The gel-like surface also keeps the dressing from adhering to the wound, which makes dressing removal painless
