The iM3 GS Deluxe dental unit’s origin story begins much like other tech origin stories: in the garage. iM3 founder Philip Bloom was tinkering in his garage, decided the vet industry needed a dedicated dental system and that he was going to make it. He enlisted counsel from his friend, a veterinarian.

This one is not enclosed, so it’s very, very easy to get to anything if you need to work on it.”The Patterson Deluxe LED Dental Bundle includes one dental unit with handpieces, piezo scaler, tubing and a power cord. The unit has a self-generating LED light, high-speed swivel handpiece, krypton bulbs, switches and transformers, along with a low-speed handpiece and nose cone swivel to reduce hand strain. It comes with two coolant bottles, one for CLS Solution, the other for water. The CLS Solution allows for easy chlorhexidine application. Small but important design details like maintenance instructions printed on the back of the machine mean easy reference that won’t get lost.
